I am not ready to give up caffeine, but as I'm in my late 50's, I do notice that it affects me more, so I've been looking for ways to reduce my caffeine. I first tried mixing chicory with my coffee & did not like the taste.
In doing research, I decided to try Figgee. I started slowly, just mixing a few grams of Figgee into my coffee. I'm now at a 2/3 coffee, 1/3 Figgee ratio. I actually love it, and if anything, it may improve the taste of my pour-over coffee by making it smoother. To note, I use a scale to make my brew so it's very accurate.
I highly recommend trying this for anyone trying to reduce caffeine intake. I love that the roast date is on the can. It's clearly a fresh and high-quality product!!
