Mellow Mix Half-Caff Fig and Coffee 6.5oz Tin

Mellow Mix is our 50/50 blend of coffee and figs. Due to the nature of figs when mixed with coffee they naturally balance each other. Figs have an alkaline affect on the body where as coffee has an acidic affect, but by mixing the two before brewing the fig offsets the acidic nature of the coffee making for a smoother mellower brew.

We source our coffee from Central American Highlands and stick to a Arabica variety for both our half-caff and decaf blends. Both blends are a light to medium roasting profile.

Due to the nature of figs they would not fit in consumer coffee grinders let alone some commercial grinders so we can only offer it in a ground variety. Because of this we roast our coffee in small batches in order to try and provide the freshest grounds possible.
If you are looking for an even fresher option we recommend buying our supplement and mixing it with your favorite beans after grinding.

No, due to the nature of figs all of our blends have a subtle sweetness to them from the natural sugars in figs but not as sweet as you would expect due to the roasting process. If you are looking for a little added sweetness pure agave is our sweetener of choice.
