This brew was pleasant. It has a subtle earthy flavor from the beets that compliments the sweetness of the fig.

So I am a coffee drinker.. it's probably one of the most enjoyable parts of my day! I love trying new brands, origins, brewing techniques, etc.. I stumbled upon Figbrew out of pure luck during a conversation about coffee at dinner one night with family. The history alone of how dried figs were added to coffee rationings during Word War II is quite the conversation starter to be had over a cup of truly unique flavored and enjoyable "coffee". I've tried several of the flavors, and the beetroot blend is becoming my favorite. It has a subtle smooth flavor from the beetroot as well as the cacao, cardamon, and cinnamon spices. And to be honest, I've never been one to care for spices in coffee or any other drinks for that matter, but this is different. Mixing a couple scoops in with your favorite traditional coffee gives it an added compliment. I serve it in my office with clients, and they are always caught off guard when I tell them it's from figs. Therefore, it will remain a staple in my coffee arsenal for years to come!
