I wanted to try the fig brew, because coffee gives me the jitters. I replaced coffee with medicinal herbal teas, but missed the rich, warm taste. Today I drank a cup of coffee, then a cup of the prebiotic fig brew to compare them. The fig brew is much more rich, warm and cozy. There's a hint of spiciness to it. I would recommend it to anyone that has problems drinking coffee. Or even if you don't have problems!

Figbrew really peps up my morning coffee. I initially tried this at a coffee tasting and took a bag home. Been a subscriber ever since. If you haven't tried it, you should.

Truly the way to go to cut back on coffee. I add it to my tea every morning and it creates a very rich enjoyable hot drink. When I do have coffee, I add 1 tsp and it really adds punch. Highly recommend.

This is a coffee alternative that looks, smells and pretty much tastes just like coffee. I prepare it just like any coffee drink, with some creamer and sugar. I guess it tastes like a light roast if I had to explain it... I feel like unless you're a hardcore coffee person you may not be able to tell the difference. It's in a kcup and I had no issues brewing it with my machine. It's not caffeinated so I like having it at night. It is supposed to aid digestion, but I wouldn't say it has me running to the bathroom. Overall, I really like this as an anytime drink as I need to watch when I have caffeine. The price is a little high, but this is basically a health drink and I know those tend to run high in price. Overall I would recommend.

I ordered these pods because I like figs and was curious what it would be like. I loved it, the taste is great and very palatable, the drink also has an aftertaste that is considerably more pleasant than a lot of coffees. The health benefis of this drink against coffee are notable. The pods contain 100% fig and they are organic. The caffeine free nature of the drink does not impair the taste and I like how it is adaptogen free. Each pod runs to a price of $1.50, which is not cheap, but for a specialist product, it is not unreasonable. I also really like that the pod format makes sure that measures are consistent and mess created in minimal. I was pleasantly surprised that these pods were made in the USA, and how great the taste of the product was.

Most of us are picky about our coffee and this checks all the boxes. It smells and taste just like coffee and goes great with my creamer 🤍 I’ve looked for so many coffee substitutes and this one is by far the best and never upsets my stomach. Keep in mind I drink it for the taste, not the caffeine- because I get the caffeine free version! Absolutely love it and have been ordering for over a year now I think.

I love a dark roast cup of coffee on a cold morning. However due to a heart arrhythmia I can’t tolerate any caffeine. This is a great tasting alternative that satisfies my coffee habit.

Although I own four coffee shops, I was looking for something for personal use to cut back on caffeine while still enjoying a hot cup... and I’m always up for trying something different. The idea of a coffee-like drink made from figs intrigued me, and I’m honestly surprised by how much I like it.The brew has a slightly reddish hue and a gentle fig aroma that’s actually very pleasant. I experimented with different water ratios and found my favorite to be 8 oz on the 'strong' setting, which gives it the best flavor balance for my taste... I'd expected something lighter in color and mouth feel (as many alternatives provide), but it's satisfyingly dark and full when brewed. It’s smooth, naturally sweet without being sugary, and a great alternative to decaf or tea if you want a warm, satisfying drink that’s caffeine-free and responsibly sourced.It obviously doesn’t replace coffee (lol- nothing really does)... but it’s a genuinely enjoyable option for days when I want something lighter. The pods are well-priced for the quality, and everything about it feels thoughtfully made. My only small nitpick is that I wish the pods used less plastic; a more minimal filter-style design would fit the sustainability message perfectly.All in all, I’m pretty impressed. Excellent flavor, simple to brew, and a smart idea executed well. From someone who takes coffee seriously, this one’s an easy 5 stars!

I enjoy coffee (and tea) quite a bit, and I’m always up to try a new flavor. However, I’ve learned to steer clear of “coffee alternatives” because they’re usually not great. FigBrew has changed my mind, they have truly unlocked the secret of a great coffee substitute!It’s very much like coffee, slightly nutty and sweet, with a robust, pleasant fig taste. It lacks the aroma of coffee, but then it isn’t coffee — it actually doesn’t have much of a smell. It brews exactly like any other pod, and “black” it tastes just like a fig flavored coffee, with almost no bitterness. Real dairy doesn’t curdle so you can doctor it up like your favorite joe; with cream and sugar, or more like tea with lemon juice and/or honey.Our whole family loves this stuff and it’s caffeine free, so no one has to worry about drinking one too late in the day. It’s perfect in place of a decaf coffee, or an herbal tea, comforting and satisfying. I really didn’t expect to enjoy this so much, but I think it’s a new house staple. I can’t think of a single reason not to give it 5 stars!! I’ve even started bring it with when I travel for work :)

I am not ready to give up caffeine, but as I'm in my late 50's, I do notice that it affects me more, so I've been looking for ways to reduce my caffeine. I first tried mixing chicory with my coffee & did not like the taste.
In doing research, I decided to try Figgee. I started slowly, just mixing a few grams of Figgee into my coffee. I'm now at a 2/3 coffee, 1/3 Figgee ratio. I actually love it, and if anything, it may improve the taste of my pour-over coffee by making it smoother. To note, I use a scale to make my brew so it's very accurate.
I highly recommend trying this for anyone trying to reduce caffeine intake. I love that the roast date is on the can. It's clearly a fresh and high-quality product!!

I like to run my pot with 50% fig brew and 50% coffee. It adds a really great taste and smooths out the bitterness that you get with black coffee. I think I'm going to have to bump up my order though, because 3 pounds doesn't last me very long. Highly recommend !
