2 Tbsp Ponzu Sauce
1/4 Cup Dr. Pete’s Chipotle Jelly or Grilling Sauce
3 Tbsp Corn or Potato Starch
8 Individual Beef Ribs
2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1 Tbsp Finely Chopped Ginger
3 Tbsp Honey or Agave
1 Tbsp FigBrew Small Batch Premium Roast Grounds
1/2 Cup Brewed FigBrew
2 Tsp Liquid Aminos or Soy Sauce
Mix all marinade ingredients in a large bowl, then fully coat the ribs and store them covered in the fridge overnight. When ready to cook, heat two cups of preferred frying oil in a small saucepan, large enough to fit the ribs. When oil is hot and rippling, fry ribs one or two at a time, until golden and crisp…about 1 to 2 minutes. Immediately transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
While the ribs are draining, mix all your sauce ingredients in a bowl. Heat a Saute Pan or French Skillet to medium-high, and transfer the sauce into the pan. Stir constantly until sauce begins to bubble and thicken. Reduce heat and put the ribs into the pan. Move the ribs to make sure they are fully coated in the sauce. Garnish with chopped Cilantro, Chives, and Red Pepper.
